The skype-o-holics; A small cluster of avid skype users who meet daily on Skype. The idea of it all seems pretty cool. I thought it would be sort of like a internet a coffee break. I was expecting something ‘different’, something descent. However while observing multiple “skype-o-holics” skypecast and others it quickly became a huge disapointment. It’s shocking how the members conduct them selfs. It’s similar to your average clique, but again when it comes to skype users and what many of us have observed with skype users behavior mistreating others seems to be the new form of entertainment. The skype-o-holics and company are yet another fantastic example of internet ignorance.

The Skype-o-holics individuals maintain absolutely zero self-respect. I truly can not understand the reason behind creating a skypecast (and or any chat room) just to belittle, abuse, harass the participants who join. I can agree with a group of friends gathering online and joking around, sure perfectly understandable. I don’t agree with abusing people who may not be aware of your behavior or individuals who are not a member of your clique. Their are limits and that should be respected. In any case. You don’t have to take my word for it, join for yourself. Try showing a little respect, fair warning you can be sure won’t get any in return.

It’s clear a lot of skype cast are clearly against the skype cast terms of service. Skype would like the skypecast communities to make an effort to be descent, have a look at Yahoo chat rooms for example. Here you can visit the skypecast Terms Of Service.

I’m aware this isn’t the only group on skype who participates in said activities. I will be sure to mention others very soon.

I originally found newegg from searching pricewatch.com. But pricewatch seemed to be a bit odd. I mean don’t get me wrong, you can find some descent deals on pricewatch. However. Notice how pricewatch is mostly links to other online stores? I highly suggest when using pricewatch and you find a good deal on a product, do a lot of research on the store you’re buying from first. I’m not saying you shouldn’t use pricewatch. I’m just suggesting always research and often check for complaints on the company you’re ordering from. Try searching here Better Business Bureaus.

I later found out a local computer store uses newegg to order most it’s parts, ram, motherboards and more. I thought I would give it go when I built my first computer. Now I’ve been shopping with newegg for a few years and I’ve found the ‘eggxperts’ of newegg to be totally different than most online stores. Newegg uses a slightly different twist on Customer Satisfaction. NewEgg support is quite comical actually. Never the less I found newegg support to actually care! So you don’t have that feeling like you’re just another customer. Newegg actually listens to what you have to say and support is very understanding and easy to work with and they go out of the way to make sure your happy. The support and product reviews from newegg are probably the best you can find. It really makes a huge difference someone cares enough to ensure you’re a valued customer. It’s a great source for Christmas shopping too!
